Sandra Rathwell

Sandy is a retired K-12 Music Educator with over 30 years of classroom experience. She has her Bachelor of Science in Music Education from Frostburg State University and her Masters in the Art of Teaching from Marygrove College. Sandy taught general music and directed many choirs and choruses during her tenure in Allegany County, Maryland and in Rudyard, Michigan. She has an extensive music theatre background having been the music director and choreographer for 20 different musicals. She also served as a church choir director for many years before moving to Sault Ste. Marie in 1993. At Case’s, Sandy coordinates and conducts the Mommy & Me program for newborns to four-year olds. She teaches private lessons in voice, guitar, ukulele and beginning piano, and group guitar and group ukulele classes. Recently, she also conducted music sessions and ukulele lessons for Autism Ontario.
