Music Teacher – Private Instruction

Help to craft the next generation of musicians as a private music instructor at Case’s Music. Teach a variety of styles and age groups in your private teaching studio. We work closely with the Algoma District School Board and other local music education programs to provide the programs and services that our community needs. Candidates should have a Bachelor of Arts in Music, Bachelor of Music, or equivalent musical experience. Previous experience with teaching or working with children (camp counsellors, tutoring) is an asset.


Preference will be given to applicants who have experience with multiple instruments. Our teaching hours are extremely flexible and we will work around other employment or schooling as necessary. Benefits are available based on your weekly hours.

  • Primary instrument you play, and how long you have been playing;
  • Additional instruments you play, and how long you have been playing;
  • Any formal music education or training; Any genre of music you specialize in;
  • Any RCM certification or other music awards/accolades;
  • Any prior teaching or experience working with children.


Qualified candidates will be contacted for an online interview, which will include a mock-lesson with one of our qualified instructors, as well as a performance aspect.
